52 - 1
51 all out
The Sunday XI\s match with Holyport turned into a disappointing mismatch, with the game over by teatime after Holyport had been dismissed for just 51. Wooburn required just 9.2 overs to knock off the runs, with Martin Tennant helping himself to an unbeaten 29.
With such a weak side, Holyport surprisingly decided to bat after winning the toss. Only Cox was able to put up much resistance, compiling 22 in 97 minutes, while Kassamali (11) was the only other batsman to reach double figures.
The wickets were shared between Steve Butcher (2-8), Ben Sturgess (2-12), Phil Clarke (2-4), Rob Rogers (2-6) and Saj Padiyara (1-0).
Wooburn only lost the wicket of Andy Tennant (10) in completing the victory. He was unluckily run out backing up at the non-striker\s end, after brother Martin had hammered the ball straight back at the bowler. Martin (29*) went on to finish the job in partnership with Matt Curtis.
A 10-over beer match followed tea, which ended in a similar outcome (64 to 38). It was all a little unsatisfactory.
