Wooburn had the better of a draw with Headington, the visitors ending 37 runs short with three wickets in hand.
The Narks batted first and played well against a powerful pace and spin attack. The main contributor was Smith, who scored a magnificent 102 not out. He received good support from Porter (38) and Savage (32) enabling a prompt declaration at the formidable total of 226-4.
In reply, Headington lost wickets steadily and were never in with a chance. Day was the best of the bowlers, producing two hostile spells to take 3-38. The difference between the sides was that none of the Headington batsmen reached 40, and in the end they were happy to hold on for a draw at 189-7.
