Savage bowling rocks Northwood Town
Fine bowling from Stuart Savage reduced Northwood Town to 88 all out and gave Wooburn Narkovians a 50-run victory when the two sides met on Sunday.
Opener Geoff Anthony (18) and Ray Bing (55) scored the bulk of the early runs and, with good contributions from the later batsmen, Wooburn were able to declare at 138-9.
Northwood were always in trouble against Savage, who took 6-32 from 17 overs, and Doug Nower (3-32) and they slumped to 88 all out.
