Alan Rogers bowled well in the defeat of Hurst by three wickets.
Hurst started well with a good partnership between Clarke (47) and Sargeant (43), but Rogers removed the middle order and only a good knock by Whitfield (36) enabled Hurst to reach 180. Rogers was the pick of the Wooburn bowlers, taking 4-63 off 21 overs.
In reply, Wooburn began well due to sensible batting from Geoff Anthony (20) and Derek Milsom, and further valuable knocks by Jeff Morris (37), Stuart Savage (26) and Phil Lawless (18) saw Wooburn to victory.
