Despite a sparkling century by Geoff Anthony (119), Wooburn Narkovians were beaten with one ball to spare when they took on Southall on Sunday.
Anthony dominated the Wooburn innings, sharing a fourth wicket partnership of 119 with Jeff Morris and a fifth wicket stand of 50 with Phil Lawless (18).
In reply, Southall started very well with Page (105) and Webb adding 146 for the second wicket. Lawless (4-35) dismissed both, but Southall won with one ball to spare and with three wickets in hand.
