A splendid unbeaten 86 from Geoff Anthony took Wooburn Narkovians to a convincing eight wicket victory over Chalfont St. Giles on Saturday.
Chalfont scored well through R.Charlesworth (23), A.Moody (23) and A.Knight (41) but Alan Rogers bowled well to take 5-42 from 16 overs and the visitors finished on 139-9 after their 45 overs.
Wooburn had little trouble in rattling off the runs. Anthony was well supported by Milsom (38), and the home side swept to victory at 142-2.
