Littlewick Green just managed to hold out for a draw when they played Wooburn Narkovians at home on Sunday.
Batting first, Geoff Anthony (44) and Derek Milsom (28) gave Wooburn a good start and, although there were further good knocks from Ray Bing (15), Stuart Savage (17) and Alan Rogers (18), wickets fell cheaply against the bowling of K.Richardson (5-31) and Wooburn were all out for 159.
Littlewick lost two early wickets but J.Rowntree (20) and K.Thompson (64) put them back in the driving seat. However, wickets began to fall on a regular basis and Littlewick were forced to hold out for the draw at 144-9.
