Narks Fail to Keep Pace with Jones
Wooburn Narkovians crashed to a 130-run defeat at home to Chenies & Latimer thanks to brilliant bowling by J.Jones.
Chenies got off to a good start, with openers Hughes (24) and Wenman (16) scoring well. Holroyd then contributed 57 and, with Bryan hitting a fine unbeaten 81, Chenies were able to declare on 190-5.
The Wooburn innings was a disaster. The only batsman to reach double figures was Steve Smith (16) as Jones whipped through the innings taking 7-17 in 15.1 overs. With Hughes also taking 3-16, Wooburn collapsed to 60 all out.
