Six-wicket Savage tears Amersham batting apart
Stuart Savage (6-35) and skipper Alan Rogers (3-21) together shot out Amersham Hill for just 64 and set up Wooburn Narkovians for a comfortable 10-wicket victory.
Amersham batted first and, apart from Grist (17) and Wood (13), totally failed to come to terms with the bowling attack, their last four batsmen unable to get a run between them. Savage bowled eighteen overs and Rogers sixteen as the whittle away at the batting.
There were no problems for Wooburn in their reply and Derek Milsom (38) and Jeff Morris (23) saw them home at 65-0 in the 20th over.
