Wooburn travelled to Buckingham Town for a midweek fixture, and probably wished the hadn\t after going down by nine wickets.
Paul Cooper went cheaply, but Jeff Morris, Dick Keeble and Stuart Savage all chipped in, and Wooburn must have felt set for a reasonable score. But only Phil Day (24) made any sort of contribution after that, and they were dismissed for only 118 with Meads (3-18) and Helps (3-12) proving the pick of the Buckingham bowling.
France (54) and S.Janaway rattled off the runs without problem, and they finished the game off at 119-1.
