Narks struggle facing modest Bledlow target
Set the modest target of 150, Wooburn Narkovians struggled to 135-9 and hung on for a draw against Bledlow in the Chiltern League.
Bledlow batted first and were indebted to opener White (42) for setting them on the right path. Apart from Waite (60) in the middle order, the rest of the batting had problems with Phil Day (4-38) and Steve Smith (3-15) and they were bowled out for 149.
Paul Cooper (30) and Steve Smith (28) got set but failed to produce a big score, and the rest of the Wooburn batting wilted in the face of Floyd. The evntually finished 15 runs short with their last pair at the crease.
