The Narks went down by six wickets against Farnham Royal, when they were dismissed for 143 and their opponent reached the target for the loss of only four wickets.
Batting first, Wooburn lost opener Lawless without scoring, but Ted Savage and Rob Males (43) staged a useful second wicket partnership. However, when they were dismissed only Sherwin reached double figures and the innings subsided to 143 all out. Royal\s bowling honours were shared between Ray (5-30) and Shave (5-46).
Farnham\s reply hardly had the best of starts when their first two batsmen went for ducks, but Healey (81) and Harvey (34) all but saw them home and they won comfortably at 144-4. Mayo, with 2-39, was the best of the Wooburn bowlers.
