Savage 5-21 bowls Wooburn to victory
A fine bowling display from Stuart Savage (5-21) helped Wooburn Narkovians to a nine wicket victory over Wendover on Saturday.
Wendover batted first and Savage was well supported by Doug Nower, who took 3-22. It was a disasterous innings for Wendover as only three of their batsmen managed to get into double figures, the highest innings came from Nicholson (24).
With only 94 to beat, Wooburn hit 95 in 25 overs with only one wicket going down. Derek Milsom was the highest scorer with 55 not out.
