Despite an opening stand of 89 from Milsom and Bing, Wooburn could only manage a draw at home to Leighton Buzzard on Sunday.
Leighton batted first and knocked up 208-4 declared, thanks to a century from Nurton who hit 101. He was aided by Lench who scored 53 not out, leaving Wooburn with an uphill struggle.
Milsom and Bing opened with 52 and 37 respectively, but apart from Savage who made 39, the rest of the order was unable to add much to Wooburn\s score, and the home side finished on 158-6.
