Cowley St. John laid into the Wooburn bowling to such good effect that they ran up the big total of 238-8.
Fowler (77) and Smith (72) opened the batting and their efforts were backed up by Garner (33) and a late flurry from Howe (19). Savage (2-83) and Rogers (4-91) took the wickets, but both were expensive.
Again, Wooburn\s openers gave them a useful reply with Geoff Anthony (31) and Derek Milsom (21) making good starts. But apart from Smith (39) and Savage (27) the other batsmen failed as Swann (5-57) was backed up by his colleagues to dismiss them for 149.
