Rance sends Wooburn to defeat
An impressive innings of 65 from Ian Rance put ICI on their way to a 52-run victory over Wooburn Narkovians on Saturday. Opener Rance was well supported by Robinson (28), Gofton (41) and Ellett (35 not) and ICI were able to declare at 183-4 having disposed quite easily with the Wooburn bowling.
The home side started their innings well with openers Geoff Anthony (21) and Derek Milsom (35) helped along by David Smith (14). But Cherry (4-27) then took the first four wickets and, despite Stuart Savage\s 26, Wooburn had very little to offer and were bowled out for 131.
