Wooburn were restricted to 146 all out by Hurst on a pitch of little bounce. Some accurate bowling by Robert Ambrose (5-36) and Phillips (3-44) kept Wooburn in check although Geoff Anthony (48) and Rob Stallwood (32) batted well.
Despite useful efforts from Junger (30), Rumble (38) and Chater (15), Hurst collapsed to the steady bowling of Wigley (4-40) and Stuart Savage (3-29) and were happy to finish playing out for a draw at 122-9.
