Match Report

Good batting by Derek Milsom (60) and Ray Bing (30) gave Wooburn a good start on a good wicket and fast outfield. The later batsmen failed to capitalise on this start as Pratt (5-49) helped dismiss them for 181.

Leighton Buzzard opener Lines (104*) then hammered the Wooburn attack as he passed the 1,000 mark for the season when he had only made two. Wooburn\s bowlers were particularly harshly dealt with when dropping the ball short as the Bedfordshire side eased home at 183-3 with eight overs to spare.
