Narkovians victory is just not enough
Although Wooburn Narkovians gained a convincing six wicket victory over Princes Risborough on Saturday, they can no longer win the Chiltern League championship.
The title goes to Richings Park, who are 20 points clear at the top. Wooburn, for whom Doug Nower produced a match winning return of 6-51, now have to battle it out with Farnham Common for second place.
However, Wooburn 2nds took a step nearer winning the 2nd XI league with a two wicket success.
