Lees sees Wooburn Home
A short report but just enough to say that Tom Lees with a highly responsible and stylish 44 followed by a mean bowling spell saw Wooburn to victory at Princes Risborough on Sunday. One shouldn\t forget the contribution of the Portugal bound George Taylor ... suffice to say that his clean hitting also helped Wooburn to a respectable 164 all out. His improvisation was well received by the pavilion crowd .. his antics in the field left the opposition bemused. Still it was Rob Rogers with a flurry of 3 wickets and the mean and accurate Lees that kept P Risborough in check as they finished on 108-9 in the 40 overs aside match.
