Stoke Green were soon in trouble against excellent opening bowling from Ian Rundle (5-26) and Brian Johnson (1-16). The highlight of the innings was the slip catching of Phil Lawless, who claimed four victims. Late resistance from Holdship (22) and Mahmood (14) allowed Stoke Green to reach 99, with Gary Mayo (4-29) clearing up the stubborn tail.
In reply, Wooburn had an early scare at 7-2, but sensible batting by Paul Cuthbert (47) and May (38*) saw them to a comfortable seven wicket win.
