On Sunday Wooburn had the bad end of a draw with Aylesbury. Aylesbury batted first and got off to a rapid start, before Surrey player Atkins (29) was bowled by Paul Cuthbert. This brough Nigel Farrow to the wicket, and he scored a powerful 100 not out, allowing a declaration at 229-3.
Wooburn\s reply failed to get airborne, despite another cameo knock from Ian Cuthbert (34), and it was left to the late-order Musketeers, Waxman (39) and Day (34*), and Curtis (12) to ease them to the safety of a draw at 160-8.
