James White helped Wooburn 2nds to a draw when they visited Bracknell 2nds on Sunday. White carried his bat for an unbeaten 74 to help his side recover from a jittery start, and then took two valuable wickets at a time when Bracknell looked well on their way to victory.
Wooburn lost a couple of early wickets to Bracknell\s Phillips, but were steadied by White and Mayo (33), while Evans contributed a useful 18 as Wooburn declared on 167-7.
A solid opening partnership of 75 saw Bracknell on their way, but White struck two crucial blows to record figures of 2-9 in five overs, three of them maidens. The wickets then began to fall steadily. Peter Brown bowled well after a long lay off, and Harry Pidgeon weighed in with a couple of wickets, as Bracknell fell 15 runs short of their target.
