On Sunday, the Narks 2nd XI had a tremendous victory over Headington. Winning the toss and electing to bat, Wooburn got off to a good start through Mayo (40) and Paul Cuthbert (23). White (26) also contributed, and some lusty blows from Evans (28 not out) brought their total up to 162-9.
In reply, Headington collapsed in disasterous fashion, with Cuthbert and Philpotts doing the damage. An inspirational run out by skipper Morriss added further to Headington\s troubles, and they finished on 72 all out. Cuthbert took 5-13 off eight overs, while Coombe and Sullivan polished off the tail.
