ICI 2nd XI put the Narks into bat, and after the local side had made 209-8, they crawled to 94-8 in their reply in 44 overs.
The highlight of the Wooburn innings was a classic 59 from youngster James White, ably assisted by a sound 40 from skipper Gary Mayo and a whirlwind 43 from Ian Rundle.
The paltry response from ICI contributed little to the entertainment, and once again raised the problem of league scoring systems failing to encourage enterprising cricket.
