94 - 7
155 all out
On a dodgy outfield and suspect wicket, Wooburn were inserted, but had a corking start through Hinton (25) and Morris (6). A middle order collapse then ensued, but James and John White managed to take the visitors to 96-7.
Chris Sullivan then joined John White at the crease, and the pair took the total on to 145-8. Philpotts then showed his earlier style, enabling Wooburn to finally reach 156 all out.
Wooburn conveyed the offensive, with Philpotts and Evans bowling to their extremities. After a very good opening stand, John White was introduced to the attack and his supreme pace defeated not only two batsmen in his first over, but the wicket-keeper as well. He finished with 3-7.
Chris Sullivan (1-10), coming into the attack, bowled a ball that clipped both gloves of the batsman above his head, before the ball landed safely in Hinton\s gloves. Jason Pidgeon (3-13) also had success.
An interesting finish, with Ruislip needing 61 off seven overs with three wickets remaining, was then washed away by pouring rain.
