A gentle end of season friendly with Winslow ended in a 50-run defeat, after at one stage a comfortable Wooburn victory had looked on the cards.
In a 40 overs-a-side game, Winslow recovered from a perilous 34-4 to reach 205-5, thanks to half-centuries from Price, Eccles and Davies.
The Wooburn reply started poorly as Dave Rogers and Alan Cuthbert went for ducks. Solid contributions from Dave Pidge (33), Richie Barker (31), Sav (23) and Ben Sturgess (15) got the final total up to 155-7, but without us ever threatening the target.
