212 - 6
130 all out
Eversley elected to bat first on a good wicket. Mission & Davison started in a cautious manner against the a tight opening spell from Graham Dare and Imran Ishaq. Imran was especially looking dangerous and he deservedly picked-up Mission, superbly stumped by Angus Porter.
Davison and Ford then looked to attack the Wooburn bowlers\ and both batted well to reach well deserved half-centuries in quick time.
Rob Hall and Derek Milsom picked-up two late wickets each, but the highlight of Wooburn\s fielding display was a wicketkeeping master-class given by Angus Porter in taking three stumpings.
With 1st team off-spinner Sultan in the team apparently not able to travel away with the 1st team, Eversley decided 212 after 40 overs would be enough and promptly declared. The decision proved correct as Wooburn struggled to cope with Sultan\s off-spin. The score was quickly 28-4 with only opener Derek Milsom looking solid enough to build an innings, but he soon was to be another of Sultan\s victims, falling lbw. The damage was done and although Graham Dare provided some resistance with a plucky 37 not out, the innings ended at 130.
