HOLLAND\S KNOCK WAS NOT ENOUGH
A fine knock from Dave Holland was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing performance from Taplow against Wooburn Narkovians on Saturday.
Holland (70) joined Taplow opener Eric Lark (26) in a stand of 56, but an erratic display of batting restricted the home side to 183-8.
The Taplow attack never posed any problems for the Wooburn reply, with the upper echelons of the team scoring runs. Cooper (40) and Ian Cuthbert (27) ensured victory, with Smith, Cuthbert (shoulders) and Morris remaining to finish the scheme.
Savage chimed in at the end to finalise a victory for Wooburn on a slow track, as the visitors clinched the win with four overs to spare.
