SULLIVAN\S HAT-TRICK WRECKS STOKE GREEN
A six wicket haul from pace bowler Paul Sullivan, including a hat-trick, helped Wooburn Narkovians to a conclusive victory over Stoke Green in the Chilterns League on Saturday.
Wooburn batted first and were given a solid base by Cooper, Cuthbert and Smith. They should have cruised to 200 but a combination of tight bowling and batting divorced from the realms of the normal, saw them slip to 201-9.
After tea, Sullivan and Brown ripped through the early Stoke Green order, Sullivan finishing with 6-28 in a fine spell, Phil Day producing a stunning catch to dismiss Simpson. Brown ended with 3-23 as Stoke Green were skittled for just 103.
