Cookham Dean succumbed to pace, pitch and patience in an awe-inspiring display by Wooburn.
Wooburn, winning the toss and batting first, did not live up to expectations. Ferocious hitting by Phil Cuthbert and Jeff Morris cunningly stabilised the total to a sufficiency. There were good spells from Cookham\s Partridge (3-20) and Nunn (3-41).
Cookham Dean, needing 167 from 43 overs, were troubled by the fire of Brown and Sullivan in their quest for wickets. Only Carlos Thomas (16) and Pip Jay (22) reached double figures for Cookham.
The visitors were never able to keep up with the required rate as wickets tumbled, Cuthbert, Harper and Morris engineering Cookham\s lower order collapse as the Narks won by 80 runs.
