The Sunday XI match at Uxbridge was notable for yet another century from James White, but his effort was overshadowed by the bowling exploits of 10 year-old Robert Hall.



Robert became the youngest Narkovian to take a wicket in a senior game when he bowled Toor in the last over of the game. With the game petering out to a draw, Smally threw the ball to young Robert, who bowled with admirable accuracy. There was hardly a ball off line in his two overs, and he was rewarded with the wicket of Toor.   



Wooburn had sensibly opted to bat after winning the toss, and were indebted once again to James White. \Frank\ hit his tenth Wooburn century to steer the Narks to 206-7 on another flat, hard Uxbridge pitch. He was supported by Pete Selleck (30) early on, and by Chris Hall and Jeff Morris towards the end. 



The Uxbridge reply became bogged down against some accurate seam bowling from Smally and Ben Sturgess. The tried to force the pace against the spin of Robbie and Jaffa, but paid the price, as the middle-order tried to make up for the slow start.



Uxbridge captain, Tinsley, struck the ball well in making an unbeaten 35, but by then it was too late to affect the result. Uxbridge finished well short on 154-6 after an enjoyable game.
